The Edwards Build a House

This week our house was finally getting some COLOUR! 

They had started to placing the "Black Onyx" architectural shingles on the roof, and we were told the painters had painted our red paint sample on the house and we should go take a look.
Here you can see the painters have been working on primers:

And one more surprise we didn't know was done!  Our carriage-style garage doors were on! 

Oh .... THAT's where the paint sample is??  Way up there?

Here is a close-up of the paint sample from the Master Bedroom window.  The colour is a nice deep, more-burgundy red than a fire-red, which was what we had wanted.  We are a little concerned about it fading more quickly, so we'll have to keep an eye on it.  It would definitely not be fun to have a house with a pink side due to fading...
